What is it?

Studio C is our plan to renovate the back space of WDRT and build out a third broadcast and recording studio.

With over 100 volunteer DJs producing our programming, we have outgrown our current studios.

This would not only increase broadcasting access for the community, it would open up access to local artists and musicians, as well as provide a much-needed venue to broadcast live performances! Studio C will have the space and equipment to accommodate full bands as well as an in-studio listening audience. 

Why are we doing this?

Our desire is to increase accessibility to broadcast radio within the Driftless region.

We have a long-term vision to become a media hub. Studio C would include video equipment that would be available for the community to utilize in creative ways. Having a studio that can truly host live performances would allow us to support local music in ways we desire but are currently not well-equipped to do.

How can you help?

If you are interested in volunteering with this project, we are looking for folks handy with carpentry as well as with a background in recording for possible consultation.

Financial support for the project would also be greatly appreciated.
