The Heart of Wellness airs each Tuesday at 9:00 AM central time on WDRT. Both chiropractors, Drs. Paul & Paula Grenier interview guests on topics related to alternative paths and views of wellness. The show is produced by Dan Krings.
The Heart of Wellness explores what it means to be a whole and healthy person, expressing one’s true potential in every way. We take our structure from the University of California, Riverside’s articulation of the Seven Dimensions of Wellness. We do our best to help our listeners learn new ways to create their best life, whether that be exploring how the workplace can promote emotional wellness or looking at a new type of energetic medicine. We’re here to support the fullest expression of the human being in the context of a healthy planet, wherever that may take us.
From one week to the next, you’ll learn about such diverse topics as the mental health benefits of dance; how nuclear power affects our individual health and the health of the planet; the “newest” ancient way to practice acupuncture; all about Ayurveda; the importance of ritual and ceremony in our lives; the link between yoga and meditation; reverential eating; and so much more.
Dr. Paul Grenier has been a practicing chiropractor for 27 years. A family man (father of three children and married for 26 years), his holistic approach to health and wellness is interwoven in every part of his life. Recognizing limitations of the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual worlds and discovering ways to expand those dimensions is his passion. And sharing those discoveries and experience is his mission. Knowing that the wisdom of the heart needs to be the guiding force in our daily lives has brought peace and direction that is unwavering in his vision for world wellness.
Dr. Paula Grenier has been a chiropractor for almost 27 years. In fact, she met Dr. Paul on the first day of chiropractic college! Over those years, she was in private practice for a few years, a faculty member at a chiropractic college and then became a mother and primary caregiver of three children. Her friends and colleagues, and now young adult children, know her as a volunteer and community organizer extraordinaire, a volleyball and hockey coach, marathoner, mountain biker, squeeze-every-ounce-out-of-every-dayer, do-righter, community builder, solution seeker, and dedicated healer who loves to help others learn about and receive the many benefits of chiropractic care. She loves to help others learn about the benefits of chiropractic care and thrives on the basic premise of just “helping people” in whatever ways they might need.
