On Saturday July 27 WDRT held it’s first-ever BLOCK PARTY! Thanks to everybody who came, it was a huge success! Attendees got to experience what community radio is all about, with live DJs and bands, featuring those who also volunteer at WDRT. Plus all of it was LIVE broadcast on 91.9-FM.

Food was free until we ran out, including hot dogs and brats, cotton candy and more, plus beer for sale. Folks got to tour the studio, record an on-air promo, and learn more about our Studio C expansion project. We also had games and activities like face-painting, giant bubbles, and a community art project.
