I’ve always liked mythical creatures. These creatures are represented in some of my favorite movies that I’ve watched since I was a child, and the cultures surrounding them have inspired me, and my passion for this has just evolved from there, leading me to study the Japanese language for several years.

Mythological creatures are beings within myths – They may have combinations of realistic aspects, might be completely made-up, and may have supernatural or magical abilities.

In these first few episodes I discuss these creatures and compare the mythology of Celtic and Japanese cultures, Mentioning shapeshifters in both cultures as a similarity they share.

This podcast was created as part of my senior project at Youth Initiative High School in Viroqua in March of 2024.
