Zapus- In a repeat with some updates, We have the fun of hearing Ben Johnston’s description of rescuing a small meadow jumping mouse, zapus hudsonius, from the Kickapoo River after it fell from the cliff above into the water current. And an update on the invasive poison hemlock plant, which is very poisonous to humans and animals alike. We do not want this plant to get a foothold in our beautiful Driftless Area.
