Robert’s love for radio came about a couple decades ago when he joined Viroqua Toastmasters, and became a public speaker. He loves giving speeches in front of people. That love turned into a dream come true in 2007, when he became one of the original DJ’s for radiodriftless.org, the early internet incarnation of WDRT. The RLE was two hours of music, weather and sports.
In 2010, he took the RLE to the FM airwaves at 91.9fm. Robert is also joined weekly by Robbie Horsepower, ‘The Dean of Driftless Area Sports,’ and Chief Forecaster ‘Stormy’ Lambert.
You’ll hear a mix of 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today, all genres and a lot of ‘Weird Al,’ all crammed into two great hours… and just like Huey Lewis & The News said ‘It’s Hip to be Squared!’
