Molly Sweeney is a student run production about a woman who has been blind since ten months. Her husband introduces her to a doctor and he gives her an operation to remove cataracts and restore her sight. The play is a series of monologues that tell the story through the views of Molly, her husband Frank and Mr. Rice, her doctor. Laurel High School Theatre in Viroqua is presenting Molly Sweeney.
Three students joined Charlie Knower on WDRT’s Driftless Weekend. Listen to producer, Payton Marie, director, Clara Zinky and actress, Israel Ostrem, talk about the play and why they are interested in the theatre. Thursday January 10th-11th, and 17th-19th.
