“Come On In My Kitchen” –cause its going to be raining outdoors
. . . BUDDY GUY beloved blues guitar legend, once observed:
“Funny thing about the blues –you play ‘em cause you got ‘em. But when you play ‘em you lose ‘em.”
“It’s going to be raining outdoors,” I say as you enter my old cabin—a place everyone can come to with their blues. “Come on in my kitchen,”… “have a seat by the cookstove. Let’s listen to some good blues a while.”
Afterwards, when it’s time for you to be moving on, you can’t seem to find the blues you came with. They’re gone—just like Buddy said. ~ Dale Z
