Isn’t it wonderful?  People are coming alive to the sounds of Spring. Birds are singing.  Snow has melted. The creeks are whistling, “Oh to be mudluscious and puddle-wonderful again.”   The poet Mary Oliver captures this in her poem, Why I Wake Early.  

Hello, sun in my face.

Hello, you who make the morning

and spread it over the fields

and into the faces of the tulips

and the nodding morning glories,

and into the windows of, even, the

miserable and crotchety– . . .

Hello sun in my face.  Thank you for waking me up to absorb the beauty of creation that is expressed with each new day of Spring.
